For those who are unfamiliar with this fiber type, mohair is a luxury fiber, noted for its high luster and sheen. It is durable, naturally elastic, flame-resistant and crease-resistant.

Attached are some pictures of some of the leashes I have made. The colors are all natural— what you see is what was on the goat, no dyes or chemicals. Aside from the nickel fastener, the leashes are local: I raised the goats, sheared, washed, prepped, carded, spun and then made each leash by hand.

They are strong and secure, but have a wonderfully soft feel (they hold up very well to my German Shepherds). Some color options are shown below, but each leash can be customized (diameter, etc).

As each item is handcrafted, there are variations in thickness/diameter and length, as well as color, making them one-of-a-kind.
