Carpe Capra KAHLEE

Kahlee means “strong”— there is a reason I occasionally (fondly) call Kahlee “Tank.” This girl is solid and has amazing body capacity. I was very excited to see how my first Fran daughter would do. She kidded triplets, but not all went smoothly and she contracted metritis. I worried that she would not recover, and it was a good thing she was in such good condition as she ate only minimally for the month following kidding. Due to this, she freshened poorly (nearly not milking at all), so I have been pleased with the fact that she is milking out a respectable amount and may even get her milking star. Due to all the TLC needed to get her back to health, she is also one of the most affectionate does and requests to give me kisses after each milking. I retained her daughter, who is already looking to emulate her mother’s physique. Given her pedigree, I expect significantly more milk from her next year.
