I don’t mind admitting that Elsa turned out to be a surprise for us. Due to her small stature, she is easy to overlook. That is until you get her on the milk stand. While she is definitely better than your average milker, she shines when it comes to butterfat. Over her 2019 lactation, she averaged 6%, producing 160 lbs! Due to this, she made the Breed Leader (Top 10) list, and we could not be more pleased. While she may be diminutive, her son (Mickey) does not have her stature and exhibits good bone and height.
