Ciaran
Ciaran means “dark one”, which he is living up to. His kid fleece was jet black, and quite dense. Ciaran was shown at the 2019 Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival (our first and, so far, only show), where he took 5th place (in a class of 15). He, along with his twin and half sister, also took second place for “Best Young Flock.”
Ciaran is very closely related to nearly all of my recessive does, but I love the handle of his fiber. He also has great potential. He has sired one very special doeling, at Felicity Fibre Farm. He passed along his dark color and amazing fleece (as shown in the pictures at the below).
