Allium

Allium is a remarkable doe. I was fortunate enough to get her from Ronan Country Fibers, even though they hadn't planned on selling her. Her sister, Alcea, was 2013 National Reserve Grand Champion Colored doe and Reserve Grand Champion colored doe at OFFF as a kid.  She also finished first place adult doe at OFFF as a 5yo.  Alcea finished first place in every show she entered.

Allium has a remarkable dark color (which got darker as she aged), as well as a long body that produces large amounts of uniform and fine fiber. She is a good mother, and has produced deep colored kids with both a dominant buck as well as a reverse badger recessive buck. She not only passes along good color, but also fine and lustrous fleece.

She is starting to show her age (straighter fiber, more coarse), but I continue to love to handle her fleece, and it is a favorite for its color.
